Murder Mystery at the Disco
Posted: April 1, 2022
Capping the anniversary year, this fundraiser in the Student Center at TMCC’s Dandini Campus turned into the nexus of groovy tunes, 1970s-themed outfits and over 200 attendees. The evening introduced fourteen TMCC student-actors to audience members, dropping hints through casual conversations. Raising a total of $50,000 for the visual and performing arts, and culinary arts programs, and the EastView building, the evening's donors and sponsors disco-danced the night away while they solved the Murder Mystery at the Disco.

Sports and Fitness Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Held: Aug. 27, 2021
With the ribbon cutting ceremony, the TMCC Sports and Fitness Center honored our first Athletics Director, Joe Ayarbe, as well as former President Maria C. Sheehan, for their commitment to athletics and health among the TMCC community. The 8,000 square foot gymnasium was dedicated as “Joe’s Gym” in honor of Ayarbe’s legacy, and the 3,000 square foot Strength and Conditioning Room was re-named in honor of former President Sheehan, who championed health and wellness at TMCC. Emeritus faculty members, family and friends of the Ayarbe family, student-athletes, and employees gathered to celebrate the new facility by looking back at our history and forward to the future with a continued focus on student well-being in mind, body and environment.
